MD1Q Proof (AI)

Ask. The answer comes with its proof.

MD1Q Proof (AI) is the question-and-answer module of the MD1Q club analytics system: it computes the answer from measured data and lists under it the facts the answer was built from.

Six question types

One team

“Where is Saturday's opponent vulnerable?”

Style, form and weak points, measured against the league.

Two teams

“How do our next two opponents play differently?”

Metric by metric, with league percentiles.

League ranking

“Who concedes the fewest goals in the league?”

The league's teams by any team metric, ascending or descending.

Player ranking

“Which under-21 player scores the most goals per 90?”

Filters for position, age, minutes, period, contract and market value.

One player

“How does our midfielder compare with the league's other midfielders?”

The player's metrics with position percentiles, in the player's own league.

One match

“What happened in the last meeting between the two teams?”

Goals, red cards and team statistics.

02

How an answer is made

The question

The question becomes a filter from a checked set. If it would contain an element the system does not know, the whole proposal is discarded.

The calculation

The number comes from the same calculation that drives the team dossier, the comparison, the league ranking and the player search.

The text

AI words the answer only from the computed facts, without judgement, recommendation or prediction.

The check

An automated guard checks every number against the facts. If one does not match, the text is not shown. The facts sit under the answer, the source page is one click away.

03

What it does not do

  • It does not predict results.
  • It does not recommend or judge: the decision stays with the staff.
  • It keeps the club's internal data, such as workload and absences, out of the list of facts.
  • It does not invent numbers: what has not been computed cannot enter the answer.
04

Who uses it

Coaching staff

For preparation: a picture of the opponent from one question.

Analyst

For fast filtering: rankings and comparisons, the full analysis one click away.

Club leadership

For squad decisions: where the team and the player stand in the league.

Media

For pre-match background: a publishable number, with its source.

05

In which packages

Every club package includes it. In the media, analyst and scouting lines it is available from Silver. AI can be switched off per organisation.

Questions about Proof

What can I ask Proof?

It handles six question types: a team's style, form and weak points; two teams compared; a league ranking by a team metric; a player ranking with filters (position, age, minutes, period, contract, market value); one player measured against the other players in the same position; one match with its goals, red cards and team statistics. You type the question in your own words.

Where do the numbers in the answer come from?

From the same calculation that drives the team dossier, the comparison, the league ranking and the player search. AI only turns the question into a filter and words the answer; it does not compute numbers. An automated check compares every number in the answer with the computed facts.

What happens if there is no measured answer to the question?

An answer can only be built from computed facts. If the question contains an element the system does not know, it is discarded and nothing is invented in its place. If the text would contain a number that is not among the facts, the text is not shown.

Can Proof be switched off?

Yes. AI can be switched off per organisation. With AI off, the Proof menu item does not appear and the rest of the system works unchanged.
